Getting Started
Creating an account is quick and free:
- Click "Get Started Free" on the homepage or "Sign Up" in the navigation
- Enter your email address and create a password, or sign in with Google
- Check your email for a verification link (check spam if you don't see it)
- Click the verification link to activate your account
- You're in! Start tracking your opt-out status across platforms
AI Opt-Out Manager helps you take control of your data privacy by tracking which AI platforms and services are using your data for training purposes, and providing step-by-step instructions to opt out.
Many popular platforms (social media, cloud storage, productivity tools) now use user data to train AI models. Each has its own opt-out process—some easy, some buried deep in settings. We consolidate all this information in one place so you don't have to hunt for it yourself.
Your dashboard is organized into several sections:
- Platform Grid: Shows all available platforms with their opt-out status
- Status Filters: Filter platforms by "All", "Opted Out", "Not Opted Out", or "Partial"
- Platform Cards: Click any platform to see detailed opt-out instructions
- Progress Tracker: See your overall opt-out progress at a glance
Pro users see all platforms; Free users see 6 platforms with others greyed out until upgrade.
- Green (Opted Out): You've completed the opt-out process for this platform
- Yellow (Partial): The platform has multiple opt-out options and you've completed some but not all
- Gray (Not Opted Out): You haven't opted out yet—click to see instructions
Managing Platforms
We provide the instructions—you complete the opt-out on each platform:
- Find the platform in your dashboard and click on it
- Read the detailed opt-out instructions provided
- Follow the steps on the actual platform (we'll open links in new tabs)
- Once completed, click "Mark as Opted Out" in our dashboard
- Add any notes for your reference (optional)
Note: We provide instructions only. We cannot submit opt-out requests on your behalf.
Some platforms have multiple types of AI training that you can opt out of separately. For example, a platform might have:
- Training on your content (posts, images, documents)
- Training on your interactions (likes, clicks, browsing)
- Training for personalization vs. general model improvement
"Partial opt-out" means you've completed some but not all available opt-outs. Click the platform to see which ones remain.
Platforms occasionally change their settings interfaces or opt-out processes. If you encounter outdated instructions:
- Check if the platform recently updated their interface
- Look for similar settings in nearby menu locations
- Search the platform's help center for "AI training" or "data usage"
- Report the issue to us so we can update our instructions
Pro users get priority updates when platforms change their opt-out processes.
Yes! If you marked a platform as opted out by mistake, simply click on the platform card and use the "Reset Status" button to change it back to "Not Opted Out". This only changes the tracking status in our app—it doesn't affect your actual opt-out status on the platform itself.
Free accounts have access to 6 platforms. Additional platforms are available with a Pro subscription ($3.99/month). Pro platforms appear greyed out for Free users.

Account & Billing
- Log in to your account
- Click "Upgrade to Pro" in your dashboard or navigation
- Enter your payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
- Your Pro access activates immediately
Pro costs $3.99/month and includes access to all 20+ platforms and premium features.
- Go to your Account Settings
- Click on "Subscription" or "Billing"
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
After cancelling, you'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Your account will then revert to the Free tier.
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial Pro subscription if you're not satisfied. To request a refund:
- Contact us within 7 days of subscribing
- Include your account email and reason for the refund
- We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days
After 7 days, refunds are not available for partial months.
- Go to your Account Settings
- Click on "Subscription" or "Billing"
- Click "Update Payment Method"
- Enter your new card details
- Click "Save" to confirm
Your new payment method will be used for future billing cycles.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including opt-out tracking history, will be permanently deleted.
- Go to Account Settings
- Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
- Click "Delete Account"
- Type "DELETE" to confirm
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it first to avoid being charged.
Troubleshooting
Try these steps:
- Make sure you're using the correct email address
- Check if Caps Lock is on when entering your password
- Click "Forgot Password" to reset your password
- If you signed up with Google, use "Sign in with Google" instead
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
- Try a different browser or incognito/private mode

- Check your spam/junk folder
- Add noreply@optout.profilas.com to your contacts
- Wait a few minutes—emails can sometimes be delayed
- Click "Resend Verification Email" on the sign-in page
- Try using a different email address
Gmail, Outlook, and other major providers should receive emails instantly. If you're using a corporate email, your IT department may be blocking our emails.
If your changes aren't being saved:
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure you clicked the "Save" or "Mark as Opted Out" button
- Try refreshing the page
- Log out and log back in
- Clear your browser cache
If the problem persists, please contact us with details about what you were trying to do.
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Refresh the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)
- Check if other websites are loading (to rule out your internet connection)
- Try a different browser
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
You can check our status at optout.profilas.com for any ongoing service issues.
Privacy & Security
Yes! We take security seriously:
- • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- • Row Level Security: Database policies ensure you can only access your own data
- • No selling: We never sell your data to third parties
- • No AI training: We don't use your data to train AI models (we practice what we preach!)
- • Minimal data: We only collect what's necessary to provide the service

Absolutely not. We only store information about whether you've marked a platform as opted out. We never have access to your login credentials, passwords, or account details for any third-party platform. When you follow our opt-out instructions, you're logging into those platforms directly—we're never in the middle.
You have full control over your data:
- Export: Go to Account Settings → Data → Export. You'll receive a file with all your opt-out tracking data.
- Delete: Go to Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our systems.
Data deletion is processed within 30 days as per our Privacy Policy.
